Expectations...

Starting from the birth to graveyard, we need to fulfill the expectations of our society(the vague definition: group of people which you know and they know you).

Just I am listing all the expectations from the childhood to the age of 60 (hope the average human life is atleast 60) depending on the society where he lives.

At the age of 2-4 : He needs to learn all Alphabets (before going to school itself) and need to speak & understand English. He is supposed to call his father & mom as Dad or Daddy & Mummy or mom and this is advised by his parents only. Here itself he is suppressed to learn his mother tongue, I am not blaming English but you should have your own freedom to call your parents in whatever language we want.



Schooling : The expectations from the society is running very high at this age only. He is forced to learn whether he likes or dislike. The methodology of learning also makes him dumb and not allowing him to think, innovate or invent anything new. Its called "Blind Method of Learning" what we read in our schools.

I just stopped myself and started realising am I did anything new atleast thought a simple solution to a problem on my own. (thinking....)
no sorry! nothing, first refer example in the book, refer guide, look into class work note..
But expectations from others not stopped on us and it always running high. Some of the common dialogues where we can hear from the parents,

dei, ozhunga padi da, endha vatiya avadhu first rank vangara vazhiya paaru!

Paakathu veetu balaji ya paaru porupa padikaran, neeyum irukiya, yen enga uyira vanagara!! eru eru unga miss ekita varaen!

Endha vaati nee school first vandha unaku oru cycle (teaching him corruption at the school level itself)

School - College transition: Time spent at this particular period in everyone's life is more and so many things we need to do. Morning oru coaching center evening onu, apuram Brilliant coaching centre notes and the list grows on.. Father, hey! you should atleast a seat in IIT or Anna university or BITS or PEC (last choice for pondicherry top private school toppers)

Oru vazhiya collegeku vandha, there we face so many things. Department ranks, placements, good percentage and so on..
Is there any life without all these expectations?
Is there any world where we get full freedom to do whatever we want?
