My Boss

Its really fun to write a post about my Boss and the CEO of Oracle Corp.

The great man's Biography:

Ellison was born to Florence Spellman, a 19 year old unwed mother, who placed her nine-month old son for adoption.
Distant relatives to Ellison, Lillian and Louis Ellison, took him into their home.
At 15, he began a long-term relationship that lasted for five years and ended sorely—depending on whom is asked, he unsuccessfully proposed marriage either once or twice. He lasted until the end of his sophomore year at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign but dropped out following Lillian's death. After a summer in Northern California, he returned home to study at the University of Chicago, but left after one semester. Ending his attempts to finish undergrad, he set out for California.

Wanna see others like Larry, click

1970 - Joined Ampex Corporation
One of his projects was a database for the CIA, which he named "Oracle".

1977 - He was influenced by ideas of Codd and thinking about starting a company
which does something to the database and he put $2000 from his pocket and
named the company called "Software development labaratories"

Larry is too clever to release his Oracle verion 2, without releasing the Version 1.
The release number was intended to imply that all of the bugs had been worked out of an earlier version. How a strategic player he is!!!

In 2005, Forbes reported that Ellison has a net worth of around $18.4 billion, making him the ninth richest man in the world.

But this 61 year old guy recently got married at 2003 for a Romance novelist Melanie Craft and she was his fourth wife.

Thats all about Larry...
Next in my bloque, NRM...

Yes. His life will be an example for us that we need not have an extraordinary background to achieve a big thing. All that is need is Attitude. Little bit of luck is also needed.

Good Post Mouly
