Deepavali Release

Hope this Deepavali will bring shine to all our lives!!!
The tamil films which are going to hit for this deepavali,

1. SIVAKASI: Vijay's Sivakasi, directed by Perarasu, Produced by A.M.Rathnam - Sri Surya Movies is scheduled for Deepawali release.
Asin is the heroine of the film and Nayanthara is the item girl in Sivakasi. Sivakasi music composed by Srikanth Deva.


2. Majaa: Vikram's Maja, scheduled for deepavali release, a much expected film after his super duper hit Anniyan. Asin plays the heroine role, Vadivelu, Pasupathy, Manivannan are also in the cast. Maja is a remake of the Malayalam hit Mammootty starrer Thommanum Makkalum. Director Shafi, who directed Thommanum Makkalum, is directing Majaa. Latest hot music director Vidhyasagar composed the music for Maja.


3. Thavamai Thavamirundhu: Cheran's Thavamai Thavamirundhu, after a stupidous success of Autograph, Director cum Actor Cheran creating is next film.


4. June R: Jyothika's June R, directed by Revathy Varma. Yesteryear Top heroines Saritha, Kushboo and Current Top heroine Jyothika join their hands in this film "June R".



5. Kasthooriman: Meera Jasmine's Kasthooriman, directed by Veteran Malayalam director Logidass and music composed by Mastero Illayaraja. Kasthuriman is the remake of the malayalam hit Kasthooriman directed by Logidas.


So out of 5, two are remake from Malayalam ;-) We can see this recent trend that "Concept of Remake" is "BIG HIT" in cine industry. Very similar to making compatabile a software to multiple languages. I very much like this business!!!

Golu started !!!

I got an invitation from one of my colleagues for Golu, where they keep all dolls and do pooja. People start singing, a great show!!!

Navarathiri is the holy festival behind this golu. Navarathiri means "nine lights" in Tamil and the festival is specially dedicated to 3 Hindu goddesses - Dhurga, Lakshmi and Saraswathi. It is a 9- night, 10-day festival.
