I also got into the trap or onsite spree and decided to migrate to west coast for job-sake.
After having a wonderful living in Hyderabad, India with all my lovely (mokkai) roomies I am moving to non-lively neighbours country called United States. I was boarded in ba.com for my departure to LA, one of the best international airports in the world. (i loved it!). I haven't faced much strange feelings or issues travelling in the flight and immigration checks etc., So I safely landed in LA and went to Marriott hotels, the first 2 weeks stay here then I moved to the appartment with my ex and current colleague. Within 10 days of stay in US, i started roaming. First to SFO (San Francisco), it was awesome stay with Major kxxxu. We were simply rocking in the downtown for couple of days, then I went to Oracle Openworld for a day and got a mindblowing experience and realized how big the enterprise business is!
Then back to LA in last week, stayed there for 3 days in the apptmnt and again Thanks giving holidays in full swing, so decided to make a trip towards Central US and planned to visit minimum 3 states include Minneasota, Wisconsin and Chicago.
Yes, right now I m blogging this post from Starbucks (like India Cafe day), Minneasota downtown :)
I want to write more here, but got bored in blogging, thats why no logging nowadaz.. But I couldnt resist myself from giving a small comparison btw terms in India and US here.

Cool....
I liked all the sivaji english speaking dialogues from cool to gimme a break yaar.....

Rajni is bit different in that movie, unusual shankar movie but gud music by arrahman (rajnikagava potu irukarunu dhan sollanum ... balelaka balelaka....)

Movie highlights:

1. All songs n their locations
2. Papaiya, Raja n rajni comedy track
3. Vivek dialogues (Naan adhi... podang....kabodhi... too gud, like appa aathaa,, podang xxxx)
4. Typical shankar technicalities in the movie, starting frm Software Systems architect to voice recognition, transfering money thru NRI and other stuff... I m ardent fan of shankar technical direction n screenplay.

Minus:
Very few to mention
1. Villan - adhu enoma theriyala oru impresion create pannala, it cud hav been better if any other villan like prakashraj. but bcoz for telugu localization, they put telugu actor i guess.

apart from movie is good
minimum 100days...
good revenue for long-time loser AVM productions :)

I recently joined in Toastmasters club here at Oracle, Hyderabad.
Toastmasters meet emphasize on developing our public speaking skills, listening skills, team work, leadership skills and so on.
Its good to see how we address people and how we speak on the topic which you know at instant.
Really cool, i always love to speak a lot about anything. (most interested to speak about technologies not hifi,wifi - simple technology or product which changes lives - not aptech ad :P, but evolutionary technologies like google or youtube or orkut or flickr which make you alcholic n addictive to use it)

My next topic of interest is Sports (from F1 to cricket, i love to speak about sports, but not much technical knowledge in all sports except cricket)

Then I can speak about all rubbish politics, hanging share market, stupid reservations in iits/iims. Not but the least i can give tons of advices to my younger generation (ask any of my friends who r affected ;)

I want to:
1. Develop good public speaking skills
2. Try to build rapport with people whom you don't know or meeting for first time
3. Read books, magazines to increase the size of your knowledge bank

I dont want to:
1. Give advice to fellow-human beings (but i can always advice my friends not to do this, i never hesitate to tel this atleast)
2. Feel shy to speak in a crowd whom are better than you in looks and talents
3. Vethu peelas, peteru, bong adikaradhu - i really dont wanna speak in the topic which i dont know at all ( i did this till this point of time in my life, started in aural-oral in schools, continued in college vivas, then campus interviews, then walkins, appraisal meetings, so on n so forth)
But i really started hating these a lot after understanding where we r upto n whr v r goin???

Like Bangalore'd I m Pondicherr'ied now, ya in my hometown for new year vacation.
Yesterday evening reached chennai, it was a nice full tamizh evening after long time.
yenga thirumbunallum tamizhla board, tamizh pesara makkal, it was nice.

Went to thiruvanmiyur beach, it was orae amaidhi, nalla irundhudhu...Then had super sambar sadham, prepard by my frnds. oru pudi pudichachi. then mani 11 achi, i requested to ppl thr hey any1 here hav fm mobile??? then got 1, put the earfones and started radiomirchi and suryan fm.
It was pleasant tunin to nite time songs and djs are really cool.

Then today morning, came 2 pondicherry (now puducherry :( :)
will be here for another 4 daz...

Andha naal gnabagam, nenjilae vandhadhae! nanbanae, nanbanae!

The old madinaguda team was almost disguised and taken a new dimension now, yesterday :) We were playing a match on Sunday with Madhapur team, even the Madhapur team is new and its one of my colleagues formed team.

But the ending of the story is same as part I. We won the matches :)
Boys were played very well, strong bowling line up. We played some good cricket!
Expecting the same for the coming weekend!

Sillunu Oru Kadhal...

The movie starts with A.R.Rahman isaiyil sillunu oru kadhal, i guess this is the first movie i have seen, which gives preference to music director! A.R also highly deserves that for his incredible musik and playback singing in this movie for the song Newyork nagaram..

Watch this video on A.R.Rahman chat with surya, vaali and director.

The normal typical tamil movie which is starting afresh, going for flashback which turns the movie, directing to different direction which is the most expected one. But the way the scenes are depicted are nice, I liked it! Stroryaa sollanumnu two minutes dhan agum, maagi noodles madhiri but the screenplay n songs are good!

Minute 1: Jyothika wanted for a love marriage but unfortunately getting engaged with Surya and they are leading a very happy life with a daughter called Aishwarya.

Minute 2: Jo is reading Surya's old diary and came to know tat already she was in love with Aishwarya( endha lover name ponuku vakiradhu boys lae irundhu copy adicirikalam :)and they also married. Then Jo was searching for Aishu (boomika) and arranging a meet between Surya and boomika.
Adhuku apuram dhan movie start agudhu, but adhaan climax... :D

My Mobile Upgraded..!!

Good news for all Callers to my mobile....
Yes I upgraded my mobile at last after not able to receive/make any calls from that!
Finally changed its battery and the panel, which costs around 500/- but the new mobile itself costs around 1800/-

I got many scoldings and many mocks from my friends, roomates for this mobile. But i still loving to keep this mobile, emotionally attached to it from the college time itself. Yes, i bought it in my third year in Kanniga parameswari store in Villupuram along with my friends, Kiruthi, Andrew. That was a nice moment!

Pesinen, pesinen, battery gali agum varai pesinen.
kadaisiyil mobile battery mothamaga out!

Now changed the battery without changing the mobile :P
I am planning to meet some museum people to get some place for my museum in the archaeology section. :D

Bommarillu - Love makes Beautiful!

My long time longing to write a post on Bommarillu movie and make my blog looks beautiful :D. Yes yet another blockbuster by Siddarth following NVNV (nuvosathanande nenu odhandana), chukaloo chandradu....in telegu.

I started watching telegu movies nowadays, finding it interesting! learning some new words apart from side apaandi :P

Bommarillu:
A normal story line-up, romance drama with fun-filled moments btw siddarth n genelia. But my circumspect in this movie is the dialogues between Siddarth and his father Prakashraj. Thats the key message that the director wants to convey to all parents who try to reinforce their wishes/thoughts/thinkings to their saplings.
Many of the parents dont allow their children to think on their own, some never allow their sons/daughters to do anything independently. Is that Declaration of Independence only for Parents, not for younger generation???

Some cantos from the movie:
1. Prakashraj and siddarth go to a shop to take dresses for siddarth. He chooses one dress and says nana, edhu bahundha? then prakashraj will say, hey no no, adha color dulla undhi, take this! edhae mikku challa bahundhi...
2. Siddarth, prakashraj and their family play carromboard one day, then siddarth plays for a coin which is near to him but prakashraj will stop him, hey aaahh akayae kottaledhu, ekada kottu...
Also prakashraj does the same in his career, he doesnt want his son to choose his career on his own. He will tell everything and siddarth jst needs to ack like a doll. Not only he, everyone in his home, thats the significance of this movie name
BOMMARILLU = BOMMAI + ILLU(home) = DOLL HOUSE

Coming to Genelia's role in this movie, fun-loving, casual, friendly girl in her college. She is a loquacious person in the entire movie and always make fun of others, highly interactive. Once, she visits all of the members in Siddarth family and they also dont like her, she also doesnt like them. So, she will say all are like dolls here, i m not a suitable person to live with you ppl and marry you(Siddarth).

After that only climax starts, hot dialogue btw Prakashraj and siddarth melts my heart (Cheran ellam thothu poyitan VK!...:P )

Nice movie...

Guys! dont get confused with the post title. It may be relevant but not exactly, yeah, i thot of scribbling some of my childhood days and school days here!

The daily life of middle class families are fun! Yep! seriously i m not getting the happiness of those days now even i have handful of money now!
adhu innamo theriyala ma, andha natkalil kaasu silaraiya irundhalum oru siripu irundhudhu, anna eppo gandhi thaatha sirikara notu irundhalam, namma mugathela siripu ellai! ahem!

I still remember those days i was like a fanatic while going school, playful boy, pestering my brother for his biscuits,chocolates :P
We used to eat bommai biscuits, so we fight for dog, elephant and some birds biscuits. we never had "Good Day" on those days! but stil they were good days! ahem!

Sunday dhaan engalaku marketu, yes there is a market calld "sunday market" in the streets of Pondicherry (MG Road). Anga poi, oru 15-20 rubaiela oru shoe pa, schoolku podradhuku. Apuram books, note cover, shakthimaan labelu nu annaiku purchase bayangaramu irukkum :D That life was busy like an CEO of the company. Whatever you do in that time, I had the passion to do, but nowadays most of us are doing our jobs without the passion, interest. Just its all kind of survival now, i dont like this! :(

Nowadays jeans, tshirt and some many fashion dresses keep coming. but andha naalelu I used to wear loose shirts and loose kaalsattais (aka trousers) with anakayiru attached with the trousers :D because its very loose. apuram shoeku rubber band pottu andha pinji ponna shocks kudam thuki poda manasu varama schoolku povaen! all are nice days, now leather shoes dhaan reebok dhaan but irundhalam andha sandosham ellai! nowadays all r leving for the soceity, every1 is trying to show off the things, no reality in the existence! ahem!

If i continue this post with my childhood games, avalova dhaan i cant stop bcoz lot of games are there i played during that time, i thot of putting a separate post for all that games, bcoz pirkalathula andha games ellam mannoda mannau marainjalam achariya padaredhukula! bcoz nowadays snookers, billiards, snowbowlingnu western adikhaam ellai mulai ellum nuzhainchidithu!

1. Golli gundu (kaiadi, neetuadi, lock, kokkuadinu palla game irukku)
2. Kotti pillu (kanju kachira game romba famousu..)

Its a dream to dream about a dream but definitely it will become an unbelivable dream come true in next 5years. Very tough for one to imagine about the future of web and it will focus more on integrating the services which are available now. More like everything in one shop, like Hyderabad Central, Spencer Plaza, Forum are providing all services in one place and locking the people in their arena.

Google, Yahoo and Microsoft - War for neXt 5 years to catch the User space

For my mind these 3 companies came for the next generation war in the web but
there are thousands of companies bubbling in the Internet like YouTube, Flickr, del.icio.us which has potential to jump into new areas. So its like our SENSEX, total volatility in catching the top positions, limelight in the market.

Lets take a closer look about these 3 rivals who are going to eat a big piece of cake tomorrow in world wide web.
1. Google - Since I m a great fan of google, I put google in first place. But
its not sure since its lacking in the software market. They are only
concentrating in the web. So, far google have no development softwares
given to users apart from their APIs and some built in libraries to
interact with google products.

But no doubt for them to grasp a large user share because of their huge hit
products like Google AdSense, Gmail, GTalk and so on...

2. Microsoft - He is major player and grandfather of this industry who has
feet in all sectors of software industry starting from START button(OS) to
Web 2.0 (windows live). Microsoft has potential to attract many users
since they are now largely believing in web (Live.com is the standing
example, ahem!). Also they are opening their hands to
join with the other products and increasing their interoperability. Since
.Net is hit in the market, they have very good scope for developer using,
building the web applications in the same.

3. Y! - Yahoo nowadays doing good, people are used to its mailbox and most of
us cant come out of that ;) sigh!
Yahoo is coming with up new products and fighting hard to stop the growth
of its major rival Google. So, Yahoo always finds a similar product of
Google one.

After reading my peer bloger's article 2years of Blogging by VK, I also thought of putting the similar post since I am senior to VK ;) by 7 days!

I remember, the people who seeded me the thoughts of blogging are Manoj,Nirmal raghavan and VK as well. These guys in our class knows about tweaking the web and PCs, used to discuss about this. So just i was hearing the term blog and as usual i put my enthu in learning about that and start maintaining weblogs.

Initially i thought when i bekame Grandfahter, then I can show to grandson all my memories, my thoughts, my pics and my funny happenings in my life. To be frank, really I dont know the immense power of blogging which has revolutionized currently the Web 2.0 Era as a Virtual Journalist, Marketing Executive, Advertiser, A good social media and in many forms (epadi blog palla parimangalalu thirinchitu irukku ;)

I was really admired by so many people in this blogosphere who writes technical stuff, entertainment and other thigns. But I dint consider myself in any of those categories, bkasu i think i never bloggd consistently, no niche areas, readers simply digested my blog posts! :(

But I am looking for some good areas to blog in near future, will see whether it happens or (vazhakam pola floppu dhaananuu, ahem!:)

Actually yen blog endha nilamaiku enaiku webla ulavikitu irukku na, the main reason behind that is the ppl who motivated me in reading my blog posts(andha naalu peru dhaan). Yeah I am proud to write about my peer bloggers, who are very superior than me in their writings! I will jot down them,
1. Manoj - A creative person who thinks simple and make it attractive! this guy is very famous in PEC for his FLASHy stuff!

2. VK - Kewl guy who has lot of potential in writing tamil blog posts, good sense of humor in his writings, a gud presentation skills in his posts attracted blog readers(andha naalu peru dhaan machi ;)

3. Muruga - Intelligent, consistent guy who posts in all aspects of life and delivers some good message through his blogs, used to give good reviews about movies.A different insight to his blog posts.

4. Prathiba - My student, I remember I taught abt her Blog (kochikadha pa, summa oru build up dhaan!). She picked up very well thru her amazing sentence flow and use of English (novel padikara peter ponnu, jst kiddin:). Her posts are awesome and she is very good in content management. A good narrator,though!

*. Emerging Blogger - Satish => Same as case 4 ;). a good frnd of mine also started blogging recently, though he was not consistent in his early writings. Now he started again and doing very well through his sense of humor(kaka kaka post) and good advise blog posts ;)

The most famous and frequenty used variable name in almost all of our programs irrespective of the language we use for our coding is "i". I guess this variable name 'i' were used because to represent integer variables, like Hungarian notation. But all started using this variable (especially college students:) i in their progs and also 'i'is widely used as a counter variable inside the loop.
ok ok... i will stop my 'i' variable story and the post is not with incrementing the variable i, its with incrementing the age :D

Assembly elections in Tamilnadu and Pondicherry are going on today!
232 regions in whole of Tamilnadu and 30 in Pondicherry. Very tough election campaignings from both DMK and AIADMK this time, people are totally confused to who to vote. Almost all exit polls and opinions say Victory is equiprobable to both alliances. If there any difference, it may be very marginal. And also as usual at last time anything can happen in election gamblings!

Celebrating her birthday in the sets of Bheema, Trisha is currently acting in a couple of Tamil films including Vikram's Bheema and Jeyam Ravi starrer Something Something. Something something is remake of telegu blockbuster Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana.

In Telugu, the actress is playing the heroine to Chiranjeevi in his movie Stalin.

Trisha says, 'I am not in a hurry to choose movies. I go by the storyline and the merit of my role. In Bheema, my role is prominent. Unlike heroines who run around trees and romance and later disappear, I play a part of the story.'

The day I lost my bike!

You are very careless!
Dont you have common sense to bring your bike back to your home?
Are you drunken that day! why did u leave there itself?
No porupu in handling things, you are spendthrift, kassu oda arumai theriyala!

Epadi ellam ennakku paratugallam pathakengulam vandha vannam irundhadhu netru,
30th apr,2006. Yup! I left my bike on 28th Apr, 2006 in front of Hotel Akshaya, which is near to my house and forgot to take back to home..
The next day morning 3.00AM, we were set to journey to SriSailam(waterfalls) - Mallelle thirtham (will write abt this one in nxt post). So totally out of sync with the other things and i m narrowed towards the trip.

Get..Set...Go... the whole day went.. 29th apr was coming to end...
we reached hyderabad....
Next day morning, i.e.,30th apr my frnd askd my bike key to go to shop. I gave it and he cald me immediately saying that "Hey where did u park the bike, it was not there in our usual place!"

I was very cool in my answer! oh i see, then it should be before Hotel Akshaya da!
then he rushed there and i was running to the hotel...
But bike was not there, it was around some 11.45am on 30th apr.
Frustrated, but my energy levels are not that much low, thinking about insurance and all those stuff. I guess i was very comfortable in handling that situation and not even a sigh though!

Was calling my friend(he knows telegu) to enquire the nearer people. But he is not reachable, we tried asking in our own language Hindegu ( we call it as Hindi+Telegu) bcoz we dont know any language proper! but only one reply came at first, we shut our shops at 10,11 itself. We dint notice any vehicles here...

Slowly losing the confidence in getting my vehicle.. thot of approaching nearest police station. but parallel thoughts were about NOC, about gettin my Insurance for the vechicle n all those stuff..

Still i kept cool in handling things n some fone calls to my house n to my friend who is an Sub Inspector in Pondicherry for seekin soem clarifciations. My telegu frnd came and we are approaching Chandanagar policestation and they said this is not comin in our sector. So we moved to miyapur police station and gave our complaints!

Everythign was done, i finalised myself thats all everything over, there will be no chance for getting my bike back! avalavo dhaan katham katham...! time is now 3.00pm, still i dint hav my lucnh felt very hungry! went to house, had curd rice n pickles and gone for a nap!

All happens bcoz of my one n only attitudes - careless! no porrupu! no presence of my mind! lack of sincerity!

i dunno where i m headin into this world!

One of the fastest years in my life, that i cant simply forget for life time. Shift in company, shift in living place, shift in language, shift in work culture, shift in personal life and shifts continue to shift... (shiftooo shift!)
But if I view this past 1 year through a sifter, it was so many! A total juxtaposition!
yeah! no single thing stopped me in doing whatever i want! (i mean here my work!)
Work is very cool and work culture is cooler. So comfortable in working!
And more comfortable in home, spent some good time with roomies all the time in playing. Started in TCS and currently going with Microsoft. We used to play almost every week that 99% of software engineers not doing! that way I m very lucky!
Kudos to my Roomies!
Apart from that met many people here in Hyderabad and got many inspirations from them. Would like to mention all those, so that I can recollect their names in future :D

After finishing our as usual weekend lunch in "VINDHU" (our most fav hotel in Lingampalli and we have very good respect n service here ;) [machi unmaiya velliya solladhenga da :D], our pulsars were piercing towards Swarnandhra Pradesh Sports Complex, Gachibowli. Few 100m from this stadium is IIIT, the place where Barcamp is happening.

We were getting into the IIIT and to the place where the event is happening, ambience of IIIT is pretty good. Yenga college gnabagam vandhitichu (autograph madhiri..)
Its started well,
Web 2.0 Introduction by Ramesh Loganathan - Simply superb! very clean explanation of the things in n around Web 2.0.

Rating : 3.5 out of 5

Next was talk by Pramati CEO about biz opportunities in Web 2.0 - Decent one

Rating : 3 out of 5

The third one is something about Inflections in Web 2.0, a mathematical analysis on Web, ok.
Rating : 2.8 out of 5

All other session just i will give 1.5 to 2 as my rating, dint find anything interesting. Especially sessions about AJAX, MeraSystem and some other stuff!
All were like reinventing the same wheel and people were giving like school/college seminars. It was not any new topic discussions or debate kinda things going on.. all were simply ppt'd ! couldnt find anything interesting
and that makes us to quit barcamp n kindles us to as usual weekend play in the Microsoft IDC

Starting from the birth to graveyard, we need to fulfill the expectations of our society(the vague definition: group of people which you know and they know you).

Just I am listing all the expectations from the childhood to the age of 60 (hope the average human life is atleast 60) depending on the society where he lives.

At the age of 2-4 : He needs to learn all Alphabets (before going to school itself) and need to speak & understand English. He is supposed to call his father & mom as Dad or Daddy & Mummy or mom and this is advised by his parents only. Here itself he is suppressed to learn his mother tongue, I am not blaming English but you should have your own freedom to call your parents in whatever language we want.

Schooling : The expectations from the society is running very high at this age only. He is forced to learn whether he likes or dislike. The methodology of learning also makes him dumb and not allowing him to think, innovate or invent anything new. Its called "Blind Method of Learning" what we read in our schools.

I just stopped myself and started realising am I did anything new atleast thought a simple solution to a problem on my own. (thinking....)
no sorry! nothing, first refer example in the book, refer guide, look into class work note..
But expectations from others not stopped on us and it always running high. Some of the common dialogues where we can hear from the parents,

School - College transition: Time spent at this particular period in everyone's life is more and so many things we need to do. Morning oru coaching center evening onu, apuram Brilliant coaching centre notes and the list grows on.. Father, hey! you should atleast a seat in IIT or Anna university or BITS or PEC (last choice for pondicherry top private school toppers)

Oru vazhiya collegeku vandha, there we face so many things. Department ranks, placements, good percentage and so on..
Is there any life without all these expectations?
Is there any world where we get full freedom to do whatever we want?

Many mails cluttering my mailbox on Subject like '%convocation%' and I am very happy to see altogether(!all) once again after my 8th Semester Exam hall (i think that was last time we altogether,correct me if i m wrong)

We guys, roomies went to Infosys on Last Friday to watch RDB in their ampitheatre.
It was cool, nice experience to see a big guy f2f. yeah siddharth, one of my latest favorite heroes after watching 'Chandraloo chakalooo' (forgive me if the name is wrong)

Beginning his speech with a powerful (modified) dialogue from his latest movie “Rang De Basanti” (I’m Karan Singhania… me and my friends made this film (in Hindi)) Siddarth talked about the movie and dedicated it to the fighter pilots of the Indian Air Force, killed due to failure of aircraft (Mostly MiGs) during regular sorties.

Sending out a strong message to the audience Siddarth was the cynosure of all ears (eyes too, of course J ), as he delivered the rationale behind the film. An alumni from SP Jain management institute and winner of the CNBC manager of the year award while pursuing his studies there, Siddarth had the audience hanging on to his every word as he spoke about the making of Rang de Basanti.

A few excerpts:

* How did Rang de Basanti (RDB) happen?

Siddarth: Films like RDB don’t get made, they just HAPPEN.Initially I refused Karan Singhania’s part, but on reading the script was okay with it.Finally though, I was really glad I had taken it up.

* How did it feel to work with the crew of RDB?

Siddarth: RDB unit was a very close knit one. With Aamir Khan, and Rakesh Mehra, around, one may feel diminutive or timid, but we all pitched in with our suggestions and ideas to improve it.

* Are you going back to directing after this or will you continue as an actor?

Siddarth: Actually the directing bug was already in me while at S P Jain.

Mr. Mani Ratnam signed me as his assistant for the Tamil movie Kannathil Muthamittal and some time later Director Shankar spotted the actor in me and signed me up for Boys. Then came Mani Ratnam’s Ayutha Ezhuthu (Yuva in Hindi), where once again he played an actor in the Tamil version. Post Ayutha Ezhuthu was Nuvvostanante Nenodanta in Telugu (my smash Hit). I’m still focused on direction, though it may take a while to happen.
Siddarth said that the passion for directing films still existed in him and recently he had penned Chukallo Chandrudu in Telugu. He said he aspires to make it big as a director some day.

* How was it to work with Mani Ratnam?

Siddarth: “Go get what you want”, was the lesson I learnt from him. There’s absolutely no spoon feeding involved. As Mani Ratnam said “Do everything with your heart.” Stand for what you believe in and make your own way towards it.

* If not an actor, would you be a software engineer?

Siddarth (a little amused, recalls an incident in the near past): Recently I had been to IIT (the movie was screened there too!) and while leaving I told my Mom “Finally after 27 years I get to step into the IITs”! Marketing and management are a yes but the technical side is a sure NO.

* What kind of a person are you?

Siddarth (Praising Rakeysh Mehra): I’m by nature a very arrogant type.

And my one motto is to remain hell bent or directing or go down trying. I don’t want to be an apathetic kind of person. I’m seeing the surrounding area around me and it’s… really great… I can see the amount of effort put into all this (drawing huge cheers here from the crowd!!!) This is what I identify with-great effort and hard work.

* With Tamil fans rooting for you how long will you continue to concentrate on Telugu movies alone?

Siddarth: After ‘Boys’ I didn’t have a good time in Tamil cinema and Telugu films happened to come along. So I stuck to it. And mind you Telugu film industry is too huge and equally good too.

* What influences you most?

Siddarth: Bhagat Singh was a great influence in my life. I admired their courage and their commitment at such a young age. And as always, Rakesh Mehra is a person who has impacted me a great deal.

* Did you ever have any embarrassing moments with female fans?

Siddarth (totally surprised): honestly the answer is “I don’t know!!!” This is really new to me. And coming to fan following, thanks to all of you out there- for keeping my career afloat!!!

* What would be your message for us (Infy)?
Siddarth: I always believe in intellectual majority. And making your options known is always in your hands. Be hungry for cinema and good cinema at that!

At the end of his speech, i realised the power of MBA! simply superb! huh ha!
He was also talking about Telegu film industry, very soon I will write a post on film industries in India, the other booming industry ppl are looking at after IT :)

On Training...

In Oracle Applications Framework training, this architectural training is very similar to J2EE. But need to know the coding standards and all those usual stuff. Not that much interesting, bored with practice sessions :(
But i m interested in learning the MVC (Model View Controller) architecture in detail after this training and this is very much related to SOA architecture whereas the first is tech stack and the later one is biz functionalities stack.

When you look deep into all those hi-fi technologies the concepts are really seems big but whereas the real implemenation may be done using very simple technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS or just calling some functions in inbuilt java classes which are provided by SUN.

Recently you people might be hearing about AJAX, i think thats a great cutting edge technology but implemented with hidden frames in html + Javascript.
(Most of the google tools are built using AJAX and thats made me to talk abt AJAX here ;)

Moral of the story: Eventhough the source is small, the familiarity is from its usage

Adhu oru azhagiya kana kalam, there were lot of trees in each side of the departments. Figures waiting for college buses near the department and guys are standing and kidding those figures. "Machi un aalu enaiku enna da pakkava dress panitu vandhiruka!"
"dei vennai adhu yen allu ella da, adhu madam da :D "
Still i couldnt forget those days, I was started my 2nd year with Electrical and Electronics engg and then got group changed to IT dept. So, it was 3 months i was playing with all those transformers and motors. Today I dont anything about those, but it was very easy for lateral entry guys, they simply love to do those practicals.

Then gr8 escape from EEE to IT in Oct-2001, I believe. No faces are known to me in IT department. Ellarumaye groupa irundhanga, naan mattum begabega nu muzhichaen!
That too there were two brilliant Trainee Madams are there (machi name gnabagam ella, muruga or manoj or vk mite b knowing)
People are very crazy at that time, keep answering the questions for the programs they ask. Especially EV used to write all the programs, even today I remember 1 tough program, "Area of the Square of the Circle". noone knows the formula to write it!
(hahahaaa..) To be honest, i dint know to write simple programs like Prime numbers, Fibonacci and etc in my 3rd semester, used to mugup the code and go n vomit it in exam!

yeah i remember my 4th sem algorithm lab, the main practical lecturer was Kanmani Madam, she has given some program on Finding all the possible paths for the given two nodes on a graph! I knew all pairs shortest path algorithm (nalla kadam adichitu poiten) but i dont know other programs. i was struggling to alter the program to get the correct output. Finally she was checking my output, she selected some two nodes the output is correct and she has given some other inputs. for that also its showing the same output! total fun! gr8 escape, eppadiyoo pass ayitaen!

Jst thinking abt these programs and comp labs. i found the cause is bcoz of not practising those in the lab classes, so slowly start doing some programs in lab classes from my Fifth semester. I slowly picking up, gainin some confidence there, good preparation of internals was boosted my scores. thats it rest of the semesters went like that, but nothing innovatively i did except by choosing this department in which you dont do anything! yeah ours is easiest of all departments i believe to get a job in the current industry. i know many of my friends who struggled in other departments like eee, mech, ece, e n i....

Then in final year 2003-2004, our class got one mail and all started thinking about the relationship between class girls and boys!
So things slightly changed here, guys started talking to all girls. but enakku edhaiellam roomba pazhassu pa, bcoz i started this in my first year itself.
but we have some pairs jst for fun in our class and relationships started growing here, believe all the classmates i got are really unique, all are highly talented, especially good attitude.
At the end of the show, yeah in last semester our classroom place is slightly changed and its moved to Cricket ground near OAT ( we call it as Open Air Theatre)
Its really fun-loving in PEC IT 2000 class rooms!

I am gonna tell about my life in PEC! Started the journey someday in Aug 2000, I believe. It was pleasant to sit in Function Hall (near Mech Department) and all First year students and their parents were sitting n watching all the stories by College Principal n faculties. Also they called some of us, I remember one was Ashwini and other was E.V.Ramkumar's parents was there in stage to light the Candle for inaugaration festival!
First year life is coolest of all the four years to me!

My first year class room in Civil department..
Especially went with lots of Kadalai, some funny subjects like English, Maths.
Also was carrying the drafter 2days/week and looks like a professional engineer.
we were supposed to wear the kakhi dress for two days for our Mechanical workshop there we have lot of fun like welding, fitting and carpentary (most coolest one, even still i remember my Dove Tail joint, it was total fun with lots of gaps!)
Got some good friends in my life in the first year of PEC and i m happy to say that still i m in touch with so many of them (refer orkut :)
I love Mathematics in first year and i hate engineering drawing, engg mechanics though they are very good subjects, but in those subject we need to think a lot(thats why dont like those).
Coming to the lecturers I got in my first year, awesome! Especially Pazhaniraja for Engg drawing, fun-filled guy, make everyone laugh in his slangs.
Eg: * Anandaraman, go and take the solids
(showing a pentagon n explaining a problem for hexagon)
* Assume this is a hexagon, after dont come and ask where is the six side?
* Enna edhu ellipsela evalova periya ottai, poi vetula aaani adicha maattu!
* enna edhu diwaliku vetula murruku sudalaya, paperlaa erukku?? hahaha

Coming to sports, eagerly participated in Cricket Ist years team and also in Badminton. Both the games, got silver medal! anna padipalaa naan classla atleast more than 45th rank out of 66. First year admission proc,etc..,
some of the places used to spend lot of time,
kutti severu behind civil department
college canteen (most fun-filled place in our college for all)
Open air theatre and ground near to the place
Vasanatharaja bus (while going to home, 1st year i dint get Buspass)

And lot more fun in 1st year, it was the first year in my life which is totally different from all the above years and also diff from rest 3years of college life.

Usually I like to sit in audience side in any stage shows, because there we are more comfortable and also make fun of others. Its cool!
But this time I just wanted to participate and test myselves how I am JAMming, ok its not too bad. But unable to speak in a topic for long time. These are the general rules for the JAM,

General Rules

(*) Each participant would be give a topic to speak on, on which he/she needs to speak continuously for a minute, unless interrupted by other participants.

(*) Other participants may interrupt the speaker with objections like ‘grammatical mistakes’, ‘speech defects’, ‘time wasting tactics’, ‘deviation from the topic’ etc.

(*) Once the objection is made the JAM master decides whether the objection is valid or not. If valid the objection is sustained and the person who objects gets 4 bonus points and the chance to continue speaking. If not, the objection is overruled and the person loses 2 points and the first speaker continues.

(*) For every second spoken, the speaker gains one point. The JAM master might provide addition bonus points for humour and may penalize the speaker for bonus negatives for any malcontent.

(*) JAM masters decision is final and binding.

Prelims

Each participant would be given a topic for a HAM (Half a minute) in groups of 5.
Thus we would have 7 * 5 rounds of HAM from which we would select the best 5 speakers who would go thru the finals.

Finals

5 speakers, get one topic each for a JAM (Just A Minute)

I me myself...

It was a party night! All of us, I mean we roomies were in Ginger court and was taking a Grand party for VK's birthday. That was a nice time guys, thanks to VK for a good party. In end of the day all were returned with our stomach full and also thinking about our bad behaviors/characteristics/principles/practices/psychology/habitats and whatever we call.

Self realisation - I believe its an utlimate matter to improve ourselves. That day we had a discussion on telling their bad things whay they have. And also at the next round others will tell about the individuals, like that it went fine.

All are allowed to tell their bad things and each one was coming up with a lot of things. Especially me, I was telling many things because I do realise myself more...
But others were telling me very few things that I need to improve,
1. Talking many things but failing to implement (Objection sustained... i too agree)
2. Good debtor, need to reduce it!
3. Over enthu :)

Good point outs by my roomies, they have given a chance to improve myself and be a practical person while tackling the things. It was a nice discussion guys...
Hope we have like this in our upcoming Taj treat by MS Bala :)

Am I an Enthusiastic? or over enthusiastic??

Hmm, I myself sometimes go out of control and behave like an enthu. Especially I can see myself as an enthu,
1. when demonstrating a particular in which I am more comfortable
2. while teaching to someone
3. while advising people (my friends used to kid me in this matter ;-)
4. if play a game which turns to a challenge or involves a team work
(good example I can give is Cricket)

So, just wanted to jot down those things where I m going wrong or over enthu.

Its kind of 'self-realisation' to my self. Many times I used to realise late, oh! did I speak too much to him/her. Could I been much softer when handling the things? Like that, mind starts intriguing myself and asking zillion of questions.

But I am little bit highly controversial in this topic,
To be an enthu or to not be?
Sometimes enthusiasm leads you to invent/achieve/innovate the things and sometimes you go mad on by your enthu, will lose your peace of mind. Slow and steady wins the race always, my other side of brain starts telling me. Hey! be calm in doing the things, dont exaggerate anything with others, cant u shut up for sometime?

A feeling of excitement comes often to me, I am easily captured by the happenings around me and will tempt me to be an enthu. A kind of avidity always pushes me to think about something always and moves my mind to an unstable equilibrium position.
INterest, involvement, zest will made me ebullient person sometimes!

Routine life

Its been quite a long time I seen 'Sunrise'. One of my roomates even doesnt know what is Sunrise, its ok! sorry vk.
My routine life, i always used to analyse a lot, failed to implement it!! Like those the following is my observation of my routine.

1. Usually start trying to wake up from 6.30 IST to 8.00 IST
2. If I came very late from office, repeat step 1 until feel comfortable to wake up
3. I will be in the queue to catch my window to take bath.
4. Waiting for hot water, heater and fuse breaks are very common in my early mornings
5. Breaking all the above barriers, take bath. Sometimes hot, ella na sami saranam
pattu dhan. Dont feel that much cold when you sing the song enthusiastically while
you pour water in your body. Huh! gr8 invention by me..its me! hehe
6. Slowly my splendor gets dust and nowadays going with VK pulsar, his passion.
7. Feel like eating in my home and also its the world's most economical hotel.
My usual breakfast menu,
1 plate poori - 4 pieces - 6 Rs
1 cup chai - 1 - 2 Rs
Total = 8 Rs
But will satisfy you like eating in Taj Hotels!!
8. Step in the office at approx 9.30 - 11.00 (depends on step 2)
9. Being a s/w prof, will take 2-4 teas daily and will spend 1/2 hr in lunch.
10. About 21.00, will try starting to goto home, always try to watch 'Selvi' serial
11. For sake of eating 3times/daily, will have my dinner and will goto home.
12. See all the faces which I may missed to see in the morning.some are sleeping
or some are watching movies. hehe
13. Goto bed, exit(0);

Be a Sachin rather than being a Ganguly..

Leading the team really is very difficult and it requires more skills.
Its all based on how we maintain human relationships with the team members.
We always keep encouraging people rather than pointing out their mistakes.

Losing a game and winning it are two sides of the same coin.
So, if we lost the game, we should not blame others. In this area, I m little
bit weak, huh ha mouly common dont do this pls!

How to develop good human relationships with the team members, how to make them
comfortable in playing with a good team lead/captain. Try to identify their
potential skills and give them fair chance to prove themselves.

I tried to do sometimes, but miserably fails because some1 will shout "This is just a game, all we are here to play, just go ahead and finish it off!!"
But it should not be that way, there should be good level of spirit both in play and having fun while we play.

Organising a team really a tough job, very tougher than anything else.
1.Giving correct overs to correct players at correct time (esp at chasing time)
2.Batting order determines the score and run rates, so equally important.
3.Last but not the least, one way or other way every1 shud be given chance in a team
to prove themselves. And atleast at the end of the day, they should have some words to speak about their "Highlights" in that match.
"Something really funny to talk about the highlights of the match"
We people spend quite a lot of time in discussing the completed match ;-)

10 eyes towards one rectangle box and a single finger is making
some actions. All were shouting whether is it an Apple or a Boy or a Cat

Literally our brains are outside our head and was in a bench...

there were some chaos in choosing the thing bcoz of this void matter called "NULL"

I want to post an article on this to make it clear for me and also for others
reference on this Fifth state of void matter so called NULL.

Null Values
A NULL in a database denotes (shock, horror!) a missing value. Such things have a way of happening.

Nulls pose the following problems:

* If you inner join columns and one of the values is NULL, that row will be ignored. Note that fixes exist, but those that use or or in, cannot be combined with an outer join (which cannot be used with or or in).
* NULLs in aggregate functions are ignored; for example, if you're adding up and averaging say, incomes, the person with a null income will be ignored. Well and good if his income was null; not so hot if some silly person forgot to enter the value! Note that there is a useful property of the count function - if you provide it with a constant (eg 1) as an argument, it counts all the rows in the table, but if you provide it with an expression, it looks for all column names within that expression, and then excludes rows containing NULL values for any one of those columns!
* Conversion functions {??? QV xref} provided with null, return null.
* NULLs mess around with Boolean logic (Well, actually, they extend it to something you don't want to know a lot about, Lukasiewiczian logic)!
* All operators (apart from || concatenation) return NULL if you (anywhere, just anywhere) give them a NULL to play around with!

There is only one rule for NULL values, and that is:

Avoid NULL values. Okay, you should also avoid anthrax and casual sex...

If, however, you through some defect in your psychological makeup cannot do so (avoid the NULLs, that is) or you've inherited a database stuffed with NULLs, then you can do a variety of things:

* Curl into the foetal position and whimper quietly to yourself until they come and cart you away;
* Test for the NULLs using something along the lines of
where columname is NULL
(You can also use is not null for the opposite condition);
* Use order by on the offending column to list the null columns
* Use a quick fix:

If you know exactly what you're doing, you might want to take your data and in calculations use another value for NULL. This sort of approach should be taken with appropriate fear and trembling. Here's an example of the coalesce function that does the dirty deed, in this case replacing all NULLs in calculations with the value zero:

select avg ( coalesce (columname, 0)) from tablename;

You should only apply the above approach if you are sure that the substitution is appropriate, which is rarely the case! Note that different SQL dialects have different synonyms for coalesce - for example, Oracle uses nvl.

Even more contrary is to replace a known value with NULL ! SQL92 provides the nullif( columname, targetvalue) function to do so. Some SQL implementations lack this function, if not the functionality.

- Info abt the traditions of the city and culture of the people can be easily viewed through this kind of photo blogs which are taken n maintained by the particular city blogger representatives.
- This system can be collaborated with Google Maps to bring a new face to Photo Bloggers world
- Nowadays, many of us maintain personal photo blogs and this can be easily linked to many matrimonial sites to get more info abt the brides, intersting one!!!

5. *Blogs for Community*

- Sharing of emotions, happiness, sorrow and all kind of feelings can be shared with our friends, it may be the sweet moments in our life or daytoday happenings.

- To encourage social work among people n also to know the social events n happenings around the world. Concept of e-governance can also be merged into this.

- Also using blogs for community, one can donate funds to poor, adopt a child for his education, helping oldage ppl and so on...

So like these, many different bloggers community can be formed to serve for the particular purpose. Blogs are boon to us and it should be useful to the society also, especially (1) and (5)

Finally, I feel like I contributed something for bloggers world :-)

I used to write, scribble a lots of silly things in my blog!!!
Some of my posts have good hits, especially posts like
* new Cinema releases
* stories about personalities
* information on technical & general news-updates

I found this competition link in one of the participants blog and I wanted to make a try, this is a good eg I can give for "Viral Marketing"
This way many bloggers are also doing good blogging business at recent times.
Word-of-Mouth in the Blogosphere

When I was surfing in Google's blogsearch, I got all the hits and the participants who are participating for this great Blog event. The solid thing I can found from all the posts are "Recent trends in Blogging and Proven results, statistics n stuff!!!"
Out of all the participants, I loved blogging one of the sites very much and it also has interesting pieces of info.. (more info)
Like this, bloggers have immense power to attract/mesmerize people in their natural writings.

I dont want to reinvent the same wheel, since all have given adequate information about blogging in detail. Rather I would like to view in a new dimension of Blogging, even though some of them may be existing but needs lot of renovation.
Let me take you into my new "World of Blogs"

1. *Blogs for Education"

- Can build a "Bloggers Network" sytem which does internetworking of all the schools, colleges and universities in the world
- Recently DayanidhiMaran, our Telecom Minister announced about Rural computer education in India, this blogging concept can even embedded from the school children
levels also ;-)
- If its not possible in universe level, we can trying building blogger education networks from State schools level or Engg-Colleges level or B-schools level to understand n realise whats happening around our peers.

2. Blogs for Cine Industry

- To get recent updates about which movies running in theatres.
- Also to get the movie reviews from public, excellent example for "Viral marketing"
- This sytem can be built in regional level

3. Blogs for Product advertisements

- Product owners can mention about their blogs even in the labels of the products to advertise them
- e-marketing can be done easily to attract online customers, the blog links also can be given to Big Online shopping Giants like Amazon.com to attract wide range of customers

The tamil films which are going to hit for this deepavali,

1. SIVAKASI: Vijay's Sivakasi, directed by Perarasu, Produced by A.M.Rathnam - Sri Surya Movies is scheduled for Deepawali release.
Asin is the heroine of the film and Nayanthara is the item girl in Sivakasi. Sivakasi music composed by Srikanth Deva.

2. Majaa: Vikram's Maja, scheduled for deepavali release, a much expected film after his super duper hit Anniyan. Asin plays the heroine role, Vadivelu, Pasupathy, Manivannan are also in the cast. Maja is a remake of the Malayalam hit Mammootty starrer Thommanum Makkalum. Director Shafi, who directed Thommanum Makkalum, is directing Majaa. Latest hot music director Vidhyasagar composed the music for Maja.

3. Thavamai Thavamirundhu: Cheran's Thavamai Thavamirundhu, after a stupidous success of Autograph, Director cum Actor Cheran creating is next film.

4. June R: Jyothika's June R, directed by Revathy Varma. Yesteryear Top heroines Saritha, Kushboo and Current Top heroine Jyothika join their hands in this film "June R".

5. Kasthooriman: Meera Jasmine's Kasthooriman, directed by Veteran Malayalam director Logidass and music composed by Mastero Illayaraja. Kasthuriman is the remake of the malayalam hit Kasthooriman directed by Logidas.

So out of 5, two are remake from Malayalam ;-) We can see this recent trend that "Concept of Remake" is "BIG HIT" in cine industry. Very similar to making compatabile a software to multiple languages. I very much like this business!!!

I got an invitation from one of my colleagues for Golu, where they keep all dolls and do pooja. People start singing, a great show!!!

Navarathiri is the holy festival behind this golu. Navarathiri means "nine lights" in Tamil and the festival is specially dedicated to 3 Hindu goddesses - Dhurga, Lakshmi and Saraswathi. It is a 9- night, 10-day festival.

The great man's Biography:

Ellison was born to Florence Spellman, a 19 year old unwed mother, who placed her nine-month old son for adoption.
Distant relatives to Ellison, Lillian and Louis Ellison, took him into their home.
At 15, he began a long-term relationship that lasted for five years and ended sorely—depending on whom is asked, he unsuccessfully proposed marriage either once or twice. He lasted until the end of his sophomore year at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign but dropped out following Lillian's death.After a summer in Northern California, he returned home to study at the University of Chicago, but left after one semester.
